Artist Portfolio Website - Hannah James
Hannah James is an artist specialising in ceramics. To coincide with the distribution of her new postcards, I developed a simple matching website, featuring items of her work.
Women Talk Day 2008
Women Talk Day 2008 was an initiative supported by Always Envive. The online focus of the day would be an online video, where an expert panel would discuss questions submitted by visitors.
In the run-up to the day, I created a site where visitors could submit their questions, which were logged and available to the client via a secure interface.
On the day itself, after filming and editing had been completed, the video was uploaded and the site was immediately switched to allow visitors to watch the show. The site and hosting had been prepared to allow thousands of visitors to access the site and watch the video.
In addition to the main site, a number of media partner were given a line of code which allowed them to display the feedback form on their websites, allowing their visitors to submit questions beforehand. When the show went live, the sites were then able to have the video embedded on their pages, without having to change any code.
To watch the video, visit Women Talk Day 2008. If you'd like to find out how to host your own one-off, or regular video features, feel free to drop me an email - rob@ousbey.com.
My Life in Books
The central feature of MyLifeInBooks.co.uk is a regular 30 minute podcast/download, featuring famous personalities discussing their favourite books.
The site also features a discussion forum, and affiliate links for all the books discussed.
Open source software was used to create the site, as it had to be produced to a tight deadline of just a few days.
